Eric Powell, creator of The Goon, signs at Northwest Museum of Cartoon Arts on Saturday, January 24th from 1-3pm.
ERIC POWELL is the International Horror Guild, Ringo, National Cartoonist Society, and multi-Eisner Award-winning cartoonist and founder of the publishing imprint Albatross Funnybooks. He is most well-known for his original creation, THE GOON, the all-ages series CHIMICHANGA and PUG DAVIS, has also dabbled in work for DC, Marvel, and Dark Horse, and the non-fiction stories DR. WERTHLESS and DID YOU HEAR WHAT GEIN DONE?

Eric Powell is a writer and artist from Nashville, Tennessee, who has contributed work for every major publisher in the comics industry. Powell has spent his career creating and promoting the validity and importance of creator-owned comics. His own critically acclaimed series The Goon launched in 1999 and quickly became an indie hit with a die-hard cult following.
