The OAX COLLECTIONS IN BLACK All Access four-episode mini-series is more than just your typical YouTube video series; It offers an in-depth look at the collaboration between CAF and Collections in Black. This series will take you on a deep dive into the events that made this collaboration possible.
Collections in Black first premiered in Pittsburgh, PA at the renowned August Wilson African American Cultural Center, showcasing some of the most culturally relevant original comic book art the world has ever seen. Not only was this exhibit groundbreaking for featuring such a large collection of original culturally significant comic art, but it also marked the debut of the Collections in Black documentary film.
In Episode 2, you get to see what most people will never experience: an in-depth look at what took place during the Friday set-up day at OAX 2025 with the Collections in Black Special Gallery. You will witness firsthand the moment when Sanford Greene hands over the complete original art from Bitter Root #1, along with a glimpse into the process we undertook to showcase all the culturally relevant artwork in the gallery.
