Jim Lee
Jim Lee is easily one of the most successful artists in American comics, always topping fan lists as the most popular comic artist working today. His early work in the late 80's was for Marvel on titles such as Alpha Flight and Punisher War Journal. His work on Uncanny X-Men and the X-Men relaunch for Marvel Comics in the early 1990's propelled him into super-stardom status, and his work on Batman Hush, Superman for Tomorrow and All Star Batman for DC have continued to earn him rave reviews. In 1992 Jim along with comic artists Todd McFarlane, Marc Silvestri, Rob Liefeld, Erik Larsen, Jim Valentino and Whilce Portacio formed Image Comics. At Image, Jim Lee's titles were under the Wildstorm Productions moniker and included WildC.A.T.s, Stormwatch, Deathblow, and Gen13. Lee returned to Marvel in 1996 and wrote and drew Fantastic Four's relaunch book. In 1998 Lee sold Wildstorm to DC Comics although he continues to run the company. Scott Williams (also a CAF Gallery Owner) has inked Jim's work for many years.
