Pepe Larraz
Born in Madrid, Jose Luis Martínez-Larraz Solís, aka Pepe Larraz, is one of the most prominent superhero artists of his generation. He is best known for his revolutionary Marvel Comics work on X-Men and the House of X miniseries.
Pepe studied sculpture at La Palma School of Arts and art history at the Complutense University, both in Madrid.
After beginning in fanzines, Pepe Larraz made his professional comic artist debut in 2003 with Cristi Y Sus Movidas. He would continue to publish in many more magazines, newspapers, and collections, including ABC, Barcelona TM, Tales from the End of the World, Diez Dedos, Dos Veces Breve, Arruequen, Gato Negro, Lunatico, Lovexpress, La Parada, and more.
