5th Round of Giant-Size X-Men 100 Project Auctions

The Hero Initiative's Giant-Size X-Men 100 Project has released the fifth round of original art auctions including contributions from artists such as Walt Simonson, Adriana Melo, Mike McKone, Shawn McManus, Stefano Gaudiano, Cory Smith, Ty Templeton, Ron Chan, Liana Kangas, Chuk Wojtkiewicz, and more. Bids close on Tuesday, July 28th.

The Hero Initiative provides a safety net for current and former comic creators in need. The Hero Initiative is dedicated to helping creators with emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and entree back into paying work.

Adriana Melo
Adriana Melo is a Brazilian comic book artist and has worked for DC Comics, Marvel, Dark Horse and Image Comics. Some of the books she worked as a penciler are: "Fantastic Four", "Silver Surfer", "Star Wars: Empire", "Rose & Thorn", "Witchblade", "Ms Marvel", "Birds of Prey" ,"Catwoman”. Recently she had a 15-issue run on a monthly series called "New Adventures of the Ninth Doctor". Other minis she worked on include "Harley & Ivy meets Betty & Veronica", "Plastic Man" ,"Female Furies" and now she is working on "Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy" mini series. adrianamelo.com
