Description

Kubert did an amazing job on this cover, filling it with powerful details and quickly establishing Gambit's unique look. Gambit appears in the upper left corner box, an indication that he was meant to be a star from the moment he was introduced. The plan worked and Uncanny X-Men #266 became one of the most important comic books of the Modern Era. It will likely continue to grow in historical importance.
