DescriptionHappy Fourth of July, fellow Comic Art Fans! Grateful to finally own another Captain America piece that stunned me upon its publication. I believe that Steve McNiven has a wonderfully unique take on Cap which was perfect for Civil War with Mark Millar (love his dynamic and impactful action scenes of Cap in that event book) and for Ed Brubaker's second run to follow Steve Epting, Mike Perkins and company. I wasn't impressed with the first issue's cover -- but this one, I thought it has a timeless iconic quality with Cap throwing his shield while leaping to one side and I swore I had to have one day!Social/Sharing |
