Description

Adam Hughes 2017 commission Superman pin-up that pays homage to the iconic 1950s pose and Superman's motto ("Truth, Justice and the American Way!") that emerged from patriotic post-WWII radio shows. For the 2025 Superman movie, director James Gunn replaced "the American Way" with "a better tomorrow," embracing a modern, more inclusive message.

A timeless pin-up that elegantly capturing both vintage and modern Superman aesthetics. Later published as a variant cover for Superman #12 (2019). Ink over graphite on 14x20 Bristol board.
