Description

A great Armor Wars crossover splash with Iron Man betraying Cap's (as The Captain) trust. This exact scene is played out in IM #228, although it's depicted much more dramatically when Cap's the main character!

This checks a bunch of boxes for me. I read both titles, so this storyline is quite nostalgic. And I do have a soft spot for both Cap & IM's mid 80s outfits. But more than that, this moment really establishes the two heroes' ideological differences. It's a theme that really got built up over the years, most notably in the Civil War books/movie.
