My favorite villain as a kid was most definitely Thanos and this is way before the MCU for the avoidance of doubt. Infinity Gauntlet introduced me to the Big Purple but Thanos Quest was what solidified my love for the purple gangsta. And gangster was what he was as he swaggered around the universe collecting the infinity gems.

This splash by Ron Lim(one of the big 3 Thanos artists comprising of Starlin, Perez and Lim) perfectly captures how badass Thanos is and with the reality gem to boot (anyone that read infinity watch too would understand the significance of this particular gem with him). This page is absolutely cover worthy in my mind.
