DescriptionJohn Buscema has to be my all time favorite Marvel artist. Yeah there are many amazing artists that I admire, but Big John will always hold a special spot in my heart especially on Thor. I am also super delighted with the inking here by Mike Esposito.So this is from issue 221 where Thor battles Herc(ules). As a kid, I always loved battle issues and these 2 guys in particular. Over the past 7-8 years I lost (at auction) the cover to this issue and a great splash page. So when I saw this come up- I was super excited for a chance to own a real fun page. Groo fans will know what I mean when I say, this reminds me of Groo vs. Arcadio. As always, thank you for checking out my gallery. Social/Sharing |
