Peralta was never on my list.

That was until I saw this piece posted before the OAX auction and I knew that I had to make a grab at it (I even called dibs). The way Magneto is swatting down an army of Sentinels as an afterthought with a flick of his finger is rendered beautifully. Magento's colors are completely saturated as the robots behind are more muted really personifies the power within the mutant. All around cover quality work.

Now the other part.

There is no better souvenir to a such wonderful weekend at OAX and I thought I would need to post this while everyone is still bathing in the afterglow. This artwork is wrapped up in a loss, new friends, old friends, a few cigarettes, an outdoor realization, some vodka, a wonderfully horrible bar and a last minute decision before getting to the airport.
