Description

I am a huge fan of how to draw books and Dong Ho Kim is part of a roster of artists published by SuperAni Books out of South Korea. They are most famous for publishing Kim Jung Gi artbooks. (To the best of my knowledge, Dong Ho and Jung Gi are not related despite sharing the last name)

This is the cover art to Kim's perspective drawing book. It was originally sold in a KJG art show in France where other Superani artists were allowed to include 1 piece of art and this one sold at that time. The item changed hands a couple of times, and recently I had the chance to get it from a great collector here on CAF.

Sent it off to get framed, so hopefully it will hang around a while.

FYI - if you own oversized art (like this) that doesn't fit into a portfolio - consider getting the piece framed if you want to enjoy it. I sold a # of great pieces simply because they didn't fit in a portfolio, and only in the past couple of years realized the best way to ensure they hang around is to get them framed.
