Description

SpongeBob and the Pirates and SpongeBuck BlasterPants comic strip illustrations were originally published in Nick Mag Presents: SpongeBob SquarePants�Buried Treasure! (March 2003) and reissued in November 2005. In my opinion, Roger Langridge�s work here elevates the piece to fine art�a playful tribute to Milton Caniff�s Terry and the Pirates and Dick Calkins� Buck Rogers. Even more impressive is how much detail he packed into such a small space�the original art measures just 7 x 9.5 inches.
