In all seriousness, if you had asked would I ever consider buying a Lois Lane cover before I saw this art, the answer would have been an easy no. I mean who wants this stuff? Now don't get me wrong - I am a Superman fan and loved the character played by Margot Kidder in the Superman films - but buying Lois artwork seemed a step too far. Those who pay attention - may call me out by saying - Hey D, what about the Swann/Oksner splash with Lois on it?! Fair point, but to me - that was bought as a Superman page. This one is all about the girls.

Before setting my eyes on this cover I knew very littel about Bob Oksner. That quickly changed as the site of this image set me off on a research trip to find out more about the artist and his work. The line work and anatomy on display really impressed me and I have become an Oksner fan since.

When I first saw this art - I asked friends if I was crazy and they all agreed the art was not bad and they even heard of Oksner (boy was I green). Maybe they were just trying to be nice, you never know with friends in the hobby. No one wants to insult your likes. At the very least - it wasn't another Elflord. ha ha.

Long story short I picked up this art and now I am happy to share it with all of you.
