DescriptionI just can't understand how this is in my hands. I have long been an admirer of Josh's art, particularly how insanely flexible he can be with his style (he has so many!).This was drawn with a carbon pencil on 100% cotton rag. There were no tricks he deployed to get these fine gradient, no blending tools, no tissue. All graphite straight from the pencil. He actually used the backside of a hot-pressed piece of watercolor paper to take advantage of the natural texturing that was on the back. The image size is about 12x18, and took him a painstaking amount of time to render. It's truly phenomenal piece.
