DescriptionJohn Bolton stands firmly on my Mt. Rushmore of X-Men artists. Much of the course of my life would not be the same if I hadn't discovered Classic X-Men as a child. Those were my first comics and a surefire gateway to become addicted to the medium, the genre, to reading in general, and of course comic art.This is a nice prelim he did of a panel from the back-up story in Classic X-Men #11. In the published version he opted to go a little tighter in on Storm, but with a different aspect ratio that extends further. It's awesome to see in fuller size the image that ultimately was used for a panel that was about 1/4 of the page. Image area of the prelim is about 8"x12".
