When I was a kid I loved the Super Friends cartoon so I had been on the look out for some story board art from the show by Alex Toth. I had never owned any art by him and it really was a big hole in my collection, but I was just waiting for the right piece to come along. When I came across this piece it really appealed to me. I'm a huge Batman fan so I wanted some Batman in it but I really was looking for something unique. This is one of those 16 panel pieces that you don't see to often and even though there is just a Batman headshot and a shot of the Batmobile, I love the rest of the tight thumbnail images. This piece is part of a group of I believe 6 pages from this episode. Alex Toth was a genius and I am glad to finally add some art from him to my collection. This piece was also published in Genius Illustrated: The Life and Art of Alex Toth book by IDW.
