This page is from "Earth X", issue #5 (from a miniseries of 14). In the alternate future tale Earth X, Wolverine and Jean Grey did end up together-old, overweight, and unhappy... but together nonetheless!

This page contains the design sketch done by series creator Alex Ross for the supporting characters Jean Grey & Logan.

This page was done on a white board, rendered in ink and wash over graphite on paper.
The reverse side features several graphite design sketches of an unidentified character. Signed by Alex Ross.

It was included in the backup section of issues #0 and #5, where there was dialogue between Uatu and X-51 (Machine Man), explaining character details, including these pencil sketches – the story page 20 from this same issue, where Jean & Logan are featured is also in my collection.
