Description

Getting a page from the first issue is a milestone one for me . It brings back many memories of seeing the book for the first time as a child .

Herb's bold line work and composition build tension from the human panic to Godzilla�s awe-inspiring reveal. The heavy inks and striking contrasts give the monster�s weight and menace, especially in the close-up of his eyes. The final panel explodes with raw energy as Godzilla tears through the steel structures

It evokes the classic monster movie mood from the old films
