DescriptionWhile Thanksgiving is a time for family, what I give thanks for is my friends.Good friends Michael Wm. Kaluta and Charles Vess shared a studio and collaborated on this project. An excellent friend remembered that I liked this gorgeous piece and offered it to me when it was ready for a new home. All of you make this hobby an absolute joy, and make my life better. Happy Turkey Day! 🦃 P.S. I'm excited to get this framed. I love everything about it. The internal framing with the arch, the magnificent color play, and thoughtful decisions that have been made everywhere. This piece sets the stage for an entire novel, inviting the viewer to enter and find out more in an exotic, far-away land. Iftah Ya Simsim. In fond remembrance of friends we have lost.
