James CallahanJames Callahan is a writer and illustrator based in Virginia, who often works under the less innocuous name: Barf Comics. He is a co-creator of The Auteur and has had his comic art published in the pages of Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, and Oni Press, among others. Known for his expressive characters, grotesque comedy, and intense line work, James “Barf” Callahan has had a prolific two decade long career designing hyper-detailed illustrations for skateboards, record covers, beer bottles, movie posters, and virtually every printable surface known to man. He is a frequent contributor to Thrasher Magazine, art director and illustrator for the skate and art publication Born Ugly, and designer of over 500 shirt designs.
