I'm a lifelong comic book fan who thought he was obsessed with comics...until I discovered original art. Now I live and breathe this stuff. You can view my personal collection at Comic Art Fans. This is an amazing hobby and I'm grateful for the chance to share it with my fellow collectors, veterans and newbies alike. I'm proud to be the first rep to create a YouTube channel, run a print ad campaign (commencing in May 2015 in Image and Dark Horse comics and appearing continuously ever since) and host a podcast (where I discuss original art with artists, writers, and collectors). I'm most proud, however, to rep these incredibly talented artists. |

Paul PopePaul Pope's art is enigmatic, it's so loose that I'm not sure whether or not he even uses pencils at all or just dives straight into inks. His career started in the 90s on indie projects such as the sci-fi story THB, Escapo, Heavy Liquid, and 100%. His breakout hit came with Batman: Year 100, an Elseworlds story set in the year 2039. He described his interpretation of the Dark Knight as "a new take on Batman, who is without a doubt a mythic figure in our pop-psyche. My Batman is not only totally science fiction, he's also a very physical superhero: he bleeds, he sweats, he eats. He's someone born into an overarching police state; someone with the body of David Beckham, the brain of Tesla, and the wealth of Howard Hughes pretending to be Nosferatu."
