Based in the heart of Brussels, close to the European District, Galerie de la Bande Dessinee specializes in the exhibition, sale and purchase of original comic and illustration art. After creating the website comicartfactory.com in 2014, Frédéric Lorge opened his brick-and-mortar gallery on April 20 th, 2018. Whether you’ve been fond of comic books since childhood or are just discovering this fantastic medium, we offer a selection of more than a thousand pieces from well-known and up-and-coming comic book artists, both European and American. We also showcase the art of children’s book illustrators. We offer consulting services on how to build a collection, and are always interested in buying great pieces of art. It would be a pleasure to have you at our gallery, where you can see our passion for sequential art firsthand. We’re open Thursday through Saturday, 1 PM to 7 PM, as well as other days by appointment. |

Régis PenetRégis Penet got his first lessons in drawing from his grandfather, who was a sculptor. He followed some mail courses, and obtained a degree in Plastic Arts. He took on several comics projects, but couldn't find a publisher. He then went to study in Lyon, and began illustrating for roleplaying games. He eventually got his turn on comics, when he was assigned by Soleil Productions. There, he began the series 'Fleurs Carnivores' with texts by Dijan in 2001. In 2004, he teamed up with L'Homme to create 'Marie des Loups'.
