Jorge CoronaJorge Corona is a Venezuelan comic book artist living in the United States, known from his work on DC Comics’ “Batgirls” and Image’s “Middlewest” and “The Me You Love In The Dark” with co-creator Skottie Young. Jorge is also the recipient of the 2015 Russ Manning Award as well as multiple time Eisner Award Nominee.
An alumnus of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Jorge started his comic book artist career in 2013 with DC Comics (“Justice League Beyond” and “Teen Titans Go!”), Image Comics “Goners”, and his creator owned BOOM! Studios series “Feathers”, serving as both writer and illustrator. From then on he has worked as an artist for books like “We are… Robin”, “Flash”, “Nightwing”, “Robin”, “SuperSons”, and “Batman” as well as “No. 1 with a Bullet”, “Big Trouble in Little China: Old Man Jack”, “Firefly”, among others. Recently, he worked on the launching arc of the “Batgirls” series as well as the cover artist for the whole run. Currently, Jorge is working on a soon to be announced third creator-owned book with Skottie Young while continuing cover and interior work in every project he can get his hands on.
