Nimit MalaviaNimit Malavia is an award-winning illustrator, concept, storyboard, and comic book artist based in Toronto, Canada. Nimit has worked on a number of high-profile projects spanning across multiple different industries, including album artwork for Sony's, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian, and ABZU. Digital Extreme's, Warframe 1999, Alien Isolation’ and Vampire Survivors. A large scale mural for Shopify’s headquarters, illustrations for GOOGLE, FX Networks, The Walrus, and LEGENDARY Entertainment, to name but a few. Outside of illustration, Nimit is as a very in-demand storyboard artist, and has collaborated with world renowned directors in Advertising, Film, TV, and Music. Most notably having worked on Netflix's, The Umbrella Academy and Code 8: Part 2. As well as for the Kpop group BTS at the United Nations, and Don't Go Back by Sampha. Nimit has also developed concept/costume/character design work for A24, 20th Century Fox, Mercedes/Maybach, and UBISOFT. Within the comic industry, Nimit is a regular cover artist for many major publishers including, DC Comics/Vertigo, Marvel Comics, BOOM! Studios, Darkhorse Comics, Image Comics, Skybound, and more. Having created main cover art on a number series, such as Vertigo's Fables, House of Slaughter, Jim Henson's Labyrinth, Dead Boy Detectives, Angel, and most recently, The New Gods for DC Comics.
