Robert Henry Gurr is a legendary Disney Imagineer and amusement ride designer who helped create over 100 Disney theme park attractions. Hired by Walt Disney himself in 1954, Gurr is known for designing many of Disneyland's original ride vehicles, including the Autopia cars, Matterhorn Bobsleds, and Haunted Mansion Doom Buggies. He also developed the Omnimover ride system, used in both Adventure Thru Inner Space and the Haunted Mansion. |
