George Lucas is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and entrepreneur. Lucas is best known for creating the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises and founding Lucasfilm, LucasArts, and Industrial Light & Magic. In addition to his innovative work as a filmmaker, Lucas has assembled one of the world's most significant collections of narrative art, from original comic-book panels and magazine and book illustrations to paintings, photography, and cinematic artifacts. The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art embodies his long-standing mission to explore how visual storytelling connects people, shapes culture, and captures the human experience. |
