Jim Murray

Artist Jim Murray has worked PC game company Valve for the last 10 years doing concept work on games like DOTA, and prior to that worked with Wizards of the Coast on their Magic the Gathering card franchise creating many popular pieces. Jim's paintings have a silky smooth painting style, typically using acrylics, and his use mottled blocks of color give his works a unique sense ot motion and energy. Murray's early work was for 2000 AD working on Slaine, Judge Dredd and others, and he's also worked on several Batman comics for DC, including a Batman/Judge Dredd crossover. Along with writer Robbie Morrison he co-created the graphic novel series Drowntown, a hard-boiled sci-fi tale of a washed up detective set in a futuristic London. |
