Born and raised in New York, Sibu T.P. is a first-generation child of immigrants. He spent a great deal of his childhood years scribbling and sketching, dreaming and imagining. Today, he makes picture books that tell stories that aren’t often told, whether they be cultural or societal. Stories rich and colorful, that touch on emotional connections, universal stories to the masses through specific, small details and moments. Sibu studied English Literature at SUNY Stony Brook, and illustration at the Hartford Art School. When not in front of a drawing board, he takes photos whilst hiking, and running from squirrels!
