Valade Cartoonist

Valade is a self taught cartoonist and illustrator from Springfield, Massachussetts. Growing up interested in black and white indie comics and manga, his influences are varied and abundant. From Drew (Poison Elves) Hayes brutal honesty and James (The Crow) O�Barrs raw emotion, to Katsuhiro (Akira) Otomo�s epic storytelling and the fierce imagination of Moebius (The Incal). Their ability to put themselves into their work and create unique worlds of their own were a foundation for a lifelong love of the medium.

Armed with his graphomania, Valade brings a style that is both honest, evocative and emotional. His art meets at the cross section of raw and empathetic. He has designed merchandise and posters for numerous bands, exhibited in several conventions and was a featured artist in The 2022 Indian Orchard Mill Taboo Show. https://linktr.ee/valade_cartoonist
