DescriptionThis listing consists of 5 pages of original art that were published as the story "Embrace Me And I Will Give You Revenge" in Kerry Drake Detective Cases #6 (1948/Harvey). The artwork is by Golden Age great Bob Powell. The art area on these pages measures 12+1/2" X 18". There are some glue stains on page 1 where some title stats and dialogue have fallen off and on page 3 in the first panel where an art pasteover has fallen off of Lady Death's face. There is frequent use of very neatly applied whiteout (or white paint, it's very thin) on all of these pages. This is the best Powell art that I've ever seen! |
