Check out this Great example of his Erik Larsen's RARE Spidey work on title with an ideal Splash image of Spidey coming right at you with a spotlight shining on him with his web spinning all over the page into the margins, making it slightly larger than your average panel page. Spidey is in every panel spinning his webs and contorting on the middle splash panel which is Eerily, making it an incredible Larsen presentation page. Larsen Spidey art rarely comes up and surprisingly enough, as legendary as he is considered for Spider-Man, on main ASM title Larsen only drew ASM issues #287, 324, 327, 329-344, 346-350, and Vol. 2 #19-21, this work being his last issue on title! The story page was created in ink over graphite on 10.5" x 16" Bristol board. The page is signed by Larsen and Ramos in the lower right. It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!!
