Check out this very nice Mixed Media Painting which was first penciled by the great John Romita Jr. & then Scott Hanna inked and painted the entire image in watercolor! This large depiction by long-time Spider-Man artist John Romita Jr. features the classic visual of our favorite web-head swinging through the air, poised and ready for his spider-sense to tingle. It is produced in ink and watercolor over graphite on 13.5" x 20.25" Bristol board. Minor rippling from the watercolors. Signed by both artists! Just a great opportunity here to own a NICE painting by this artist! It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!!
