DescriptionCheck out this very nice 1990 Battle page, which was penciled by the great Norm Breyfogle, and inked by the great Steve Mitchell, from the story titled: "Saturday Night at the Movies!" This nice page features Batman in 4 of the 5 great pages as he swings and chases a drug dealer into a movie theater where "THE MARK OF ZORRO" is playing, leading to a confrontation with a gunman and a young family coming from the movie theater, which triggers memories of the death of the Waynes. It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
