DescriptionThis is the original art for strip # A-19 of a proposed strip being called "Rusty Ryan" by artist/creator Frank Godwin. The strip was picked up for syndication, but the title was changed to "Rusty Riley". This strip must have been drawn circa 1947 since the syndicated strip started in 1948. Godwin's artwork is just beautiful! The artwork area measures 6" by 21" and is drawn on strathmore-type board. It is in very nice, clean shape. My photo is a little dark, but the art is just off-white. |
