DescriptionCheck out this very nice, and VERY LAST 1978 Amazing Spider-Man SPLASH page that was penciled by the great Ross Andru, and inked by the great Mike Esposito, from the story aptly titled: "The Graduation of Peter Parker!" This great SPLASH page features the GRADUATION of Peter Parker! we also see nice images of Flash Thompson; Harry Osborn; Betty Brant; J. Jonah Jameson; and Randy Robertson at the graduation. We also have a very short heartfelt GOODBYE from Ross Andru and Mike Esposito drawn into the very last script line of the story. It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
