Hail and Well Met!

A continuing quest for the art of my youth led me here... and what a great resource! So much artwork that was beloved when I was young and carefree, so much more that I have never seen and have only now begun to enjoy.

Hope to continue developing my collection so I'll mention I'm looking for original art from the likes of Jeff Easley, Clyde Caldwell, Larry Elmore, Fred Fields, Brom, Tony Diterlizzi... the list goes on but I'm sure you get the idea.

Hi Chanse! Pretty similar interests I see. Maybe one day we'll unearth some Erol Otus stuff? :)

that would be amazing but does not seem very likely.

was talking to diesel at gencon last month and he told me that a lot of the very early stuff, his work included, was simply thrown out by tsr to make room for new stuff as new editions were released.

there are a few pieces out there, but not many... and there is a certain buyer out of hong kong with extraordinarily deep pockets who has collected most everything major or minor that has come on the market during the last decade or so. from what i've been told this buyer hopes to open a museum of rpg art here in the states but sadly it seems forward progress has stalled... alas.

we can still hope!
