Description

Justice League of America v2 #9 (published May 16, 2007, cover date July 2007) The Lightning Saga, Part 3: Suicide

As you can see from the supplemental image, The Lightning Saga was scheduled to include connecting covers by Phil Jimenez. From left to right, the first two covers tie together nicely. Even the third and fourth covers tie the major characters together but the background does not match. There were plans for a fifth tie-in cover but Phil Jimenez signed a Marvel exclusive. Oh so close… These five covers are absolutely spectacular and I am extremely grateful to have the JLA/JSA/Legion all by Phil Jimenez!
