DescriptionI HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AN EISNER MAINLY SOUND EFFECTS PAGE FOR QUITE A WHILE AND THIS ONE REALLY NAILS IT FOR ME! It has all the the great Eisner magic! The clicking tock, the barely visible gun, the squeaky door, and the wild shots, yelps, and screams create a dramatic and humorous effect, as the shaken Bonehead and the gang-that-couldn’t-shoot-straight is revealed in the final panel by The Spirit himself. How did I miss this??? I love this story! Eiser was one of the first to see the power in lettering and sounds in storytelling. Great page!!

Great Spirit page. I love all the black panels with the lettering. It leads you to imagin the chaos of the fight. Congratulations!
