Descriptioni have wanted a colored timm example for a while. i have had a couple inked pieces but really was looking for something more than that. items come up every now and then on eBay or on other art auction sites. none of those really did it for me until i saw this one. it was new to me (i had not seen it before). i have no idea why or when it was done or if it appears in any of his art books (if someone knows please let me know :). here is what comiclink had to say...Bruce Timm, who is equally beloved for his contributions to DC's animated universe and his sexy pin-ups, created this wonderfully illustrated piece featuring the most alluring vampire in comic books, Vampirella. Included in the lot are both Timm's finished piece and his fully rendered original pencils, making this a great two-for-one opportunity for the Timm and/or Vampi fan! Vampirella was created by Forrest J Ackerman and Trina Robbins and first appeared in Warren Publishing's black-and-white horror comics magazine Vampirella #1 in 1969. Vampirella began as a horror-story host in the tradition of the EC's Crypt Keeper, but writer-editor Archie Goodwin later developed the character to a horror-drama leading character. Bruce Timm is best known as the co-creator of the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series and the co-creator of the incredibly popular Harley Quinn. The art has an approximate image area of 8" x 11". Congrats Matthew! I saw this come up on auction and was blown away by it. Vampirella is not in my wheelhouse of desired characters, but Timm was on fire working on this piece. A true stunner. Very nice addition to your gallery.

Wow, that's one beautiful rendition of Vampirella. A true masterpiece to any Vampirella fan.
