DescriptionMatteo's cover work on this series has been absolutely outstanding, and the first time I saw this piece, my jaw dropped. Such an emotional, moody piece. Just that obsessive feeling, living in the shadows of someone as great as Superman...it really does an amazing job of capturing that emotion and with all the history and various renditions of the two, I truly felt like this captured 60 years of their relationship perfectly...and the Ross poster (not in the published image)...incredible!!I'm in awe of how Matteo was able to accomplish the poster/newspaper clipping wall. His inks and washes are always phenomenal, but the finite detail he put into this one just blows me away. Matteo's an absolute rock start and I can't say enough good things about my new pal, Ray, for dealing with me on this piece. I'm forever grateful, dude...this piece is such an important one to me and I'm beyond thrilled to hold it in my collection. Social/Sharing |

This is a beast of an image! I can't think of a better image from Scalera.

Incredible cover! I actually like the original version better than the published version with that beautiful Ross Superman poster on the wall. Huge congrats!

Great cover. Wonder why they changed the Ross poster? It's much stronger with it. Congrats!

Scalera is so masterful! Love all the little details and how he was able to successfully pull off the lighting effects!
