Description

Between 2009 and 2014 I assembled artwork under the banner "The Sandman Cover Project".

The premise was simple - what would the covers had looked like if the interior artists had been tasked with the creation, rather than the great Dave McKean?

This is the cover to issue 39, if the above had occurred.

The idea here was to take a scene from the interior and flesh it out into something rather spectacular.
