DescriptionPeter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man 31, Page 2 (June, 1979)Exceptional page that marks one of the best stages in the history of the Trepamuros. The appearance of the Carroña is, without a doubt, one of the most interesting sagas of all the 70's, being remembered for years by its quality, its anguish and its originality. Jim Mooney's work on this page is incredible, capturing a terrifying Carroña, taken directly from the worst fandom dreams of those years. Spectacular Spider-Man lived irregular years. It began as the secondary Spider-Man series, but on many occasions far surpassed the mother series, the Amazing Spider-Man. Although the level was eventually quite low, the early years of Spider-Man Spectacular were exceptional, with sagas like The blind leading the blind or Carroña's own saga, which entered directly into the elite of arachnid stories. A page with an exceptional art to illustrate a saga that is still remembered today. Social/Sharing |

Great early PPSM page with a VERY early sequence featuring Carrion. Really like the overall flow, with both a present and past scene reflected packed into the page. Some sharp inks by Springer, too, enhance! Congrats!

Se me pasó esta maravilla: las historias de "Peter Parker" fueron las primeras que leí en color de Spiderman y, de éstas, las que más me impresionaron, por la calidad del dibujo y por el villano, fueron las de Carroña. ¡Qué gran página has conseguido! Nunca he olvidado esa extraordinaria segunda viñeta con el contrapicado de Carroña. ¡Enhorabuena!

Great storyline - still remember the phrase "Dust to Dust" in that final panel!

A page I owned for many years that I still miss very much. But still, it does my heart good, knowing it went to a good place. Excellent re-cap/ awesome art!
