Description

Darkseid “after Kirby” by Jim Lee is 23/60 of his 60 sketches in 60 days charity campaign. I knew this could by my chance to get a great Jim Lee piece and help a great cause, especially being a lifelong comic fan. I was hoping he would do one of my favorite DC characters and all around favorite villain Darkseid. What I didn’t expect was he was going to do his take on my favorite Jack Kirby depiction of Darkseid. Jim Lee CRUSHED it. When I saw it I knew that was the piece I needed to get. The details in this portrait are unreal and the glowing red eyes just subtly pop. This is the Darkseid you fear. Very happy to have won this and now I have both Darkseid and Metron by Jack Kirby and Jim Lee.

Update: Just found out this now cover B for the upcoming DC K.O. #1. Beyond excited to now own a Jim Lee cover.
