Description

"Hi! I'm the continuity girl - care to continue?"

Captioned by Roy in pencil and signed 'Raymonde rough' in Indian ink.

We estimate this illustration was completed in the late 70's for Playboy USA. It's in excellent condition, painted using watercolour and Indian ink on paper.

The back of the paper has Roy's old studio address on it as all preliminaries were sent off to the USA by mail for the cartoon Editor Michelle Urry. The preliminaries were then sent back to Roy in the UK to be redrawn before being sent back and published!

The paper shows natural signs of age with the corners slightly bent and discoloured but the overall condition is still very good. This is because the cartoons were kept in the dark of Roy's studio up until recently. We therefor highly recommend you use UV protective glass when buying one of the artworks to maintain the vibrancy.
