DescriptionThe Amazing X-Men series, maybe to the surprise of a few, ended up being an extremely enjoyable read with stellar artwork by everyone's favorite Ed McGuinness! Of all the Amazing X-Men covers, and there are a few, this one has always stuck with me. Wolverine and Northstar lost in some icy tundra...the vast, empty white space catches the eye and adds some flavor, making this cover extra impressive in my estimation!Social/Sharing |

I'm not sure why, but this looks far nice here than it seemed on the auction site. It felt more barren then. It's really a very different approach for McGuinness, as he used a much finer line style than usual to achieve the illusion of the frozen, ice and snow covered Wolverine. Really nice!

There really is something truly appealing about this cover. It's so stark and raw. Also, it makes you wonder why Wolverine stayed still so long as to achieve that level of frostiness. I also loved this storyline because it reunited Nightcrawler (who the X-Men basically brought back to life) with Wolverine.

Healing factor really does come in handy at times, doesn't it?! Nice Ed cover, man, and you're right, this was a fun series. Perfect for Ed's colorful style. Congrats!

Love this piece so much. Congrats!! Now I know who won it from the bidding war. Soo cool to see on here and know it's found a good home. Soon after the auction I ended up getting a few of his pieces of work directly from his retailer.
This book and series really did a great job on some amazing characters. This cover better by a supreme example for the feel of the series.
