Description

The massive and imposing figure of the Ultramega towers in the most prominent panel here with that ominous shadow over the poor beastie about to get crushed... note how the last panel placements get knocked askew from the weight of the crushing.

What else can be said about James's art for this series? The sheer scale emphasized and the weight of the inks on the page alone make this piece a standout!

The different camera angles exaggerate and emphasize the distance from one character that has to look down and the that looks up in awe.

Stupendous page! Love the montage of foot stomping in the 3rd panel, the monster design, the lighting, the crazy panel layout, and all the atmospherics and emphasis effects Harren used here
