DescriptionI was a big fan of Brian K. Vaughan and Brandon Peterson's run on Ultimate X-Men, so I am very pleased to add this page to my collection! I love how it features Kitty Pryde using her powers, and Brandon makes Kitty do some great gross-out faces as she explains the exploits of Iceman and Rogue to Ororo while standing outside Ororo's room. This page was penciled and inked by Brandon, which makes me love it even more. Thanks, Michael!Social/Sharing |

I've been a big fan of Brandon's work since the first time I saw it on Legion of Super-Heroes three decades ago. Fantastic work here between the facial expressions, the movement of the figure and the overall layout. Great pickup!

I've been a fan of Brandon's work for a long time too, Michael! I think the first time his art absolutely blew me away was on that Astonishing X-Men vol 2 miniseries where Wolverine was revealed to be a horseman of Apocalypse!

Very cool that she phases into the page and pahses to her exit out to the next page. The background effects for those panels in between support that emotion of high concern for Storm on the other side of the door as their grief may have led Storm to do something radical to hurt herself.

Marcus, I love that Kitty phases first into, then out of the page too! Such good storytelling!

Harry, I agree that Brandon did a great job on Kitty's emotions! It is a difficult trick to add ink lines to female faces without aging them. Thanks so much!
