DescriptionPierre had color prints of Marie posed in front of a statue. My guess is this pencil drawing was a rejected composition. It's drawn on Disney animation paper from Pierre's time working on The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Tarzan. This image as well as the print image appear in Sketchbook Carnet de Croquis: the drawings of Pierre Alary published by my brother's Stuart Ng Books.Social/Sharing |

Don't be frightened, that thing on my shoulder is just the green eyed monster of jealousy. Wow!! I saw a colored version of this on Pierre's site and the loose pencils in the sketchbook. As a fan of rough sketches, this one's terrific!
